By helping clients create realistic, achievable recovery goals, case managers keep clients accountable while encouraging improved self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-discipline – three cornerstones of healthy long-term sobriety.
Weekly case manager meetings ensure that clients are staying on track and focused on their recovery goals, while bi-weekly family meetings keep families up to date and informed about their loved ones’ progress on the road to recovery.
When a client’s recovery involves outside help from a clinician, specialist, doctor, therapist, or outpatient facility, case managers assist clients to help ease the process of finding just the right provider for their individual needs. Avenues NYC’s network of recovery professionals features some of the Tri-state Area’s finest health and wellness providers. Avenues NYC case managers work in tandem with these outside clinicians, keeping an open line of communication to ensure accountability, and an in-depth, collaborative recovery process.
